What it is

White sandwich bread is made from refined wheat flour, yeast and usually a little fat, sugar and milk, baked in a tin for a square shape. It has a soft, even crumb and a thin, tender crust, and often contains preservatives or improvers. Pav are similar soft white rolls baked joined together.
