How these numbers were made

  • Calculated from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy) per-100 g values and the listed quantities.

Good to know

Tips

  • Save some raw onion and calamansi to add at the end for freshness.

Common mistakes

  • Chopping the pork before grilling — grill it in one piece for a crisp outside, then chop.
  • Using lean pork only; sisig needs fat for richness and crunch.

Serve with

  • Serve with rice, or as pulutan (bar snack) with cold beer.

Storage

  • Refrigerate for up to 2 days.

Reheating

  • Re-crisp in a very hot pan.
