Good to know
Tips
- Use full-fat yoghurt; low-fat yoghurt splits more easily and tastes thin.
Common mistakes
- Blending the yoghurt with the herbs — it turns thin and watery; fold the paste in by hand.
Serve with
- Serve with paneer or chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, tandoori chicken, biryani or onion bhaji.
Food safety
- Keep chilled; do not leave yoghurt-based chutney at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
Storage
- Refrigerate covered for up to 2 days.
