Ingredients

1 mug (about 260 ml)

Method

  1. Step 1

Put the honey (opens in a new tab) in a warmed mug and pull the espresso (opens in a new tab) onto it; stir until dissolved.

  2. Step 2

Whisk the cinnamon (opens in a new tab) into the cold milk (opens in a new tab) in the jug, then steam to 60–65 °C with a little air for microfoam.

Food safety: Steam wands and freshly steamed milk are scalding: purge the wand away from your hand and wipe it straight after use.

Ground cinnamon doesn't dissolve; it's fine to see a few specks.

How these numbers were made

  • Calculated from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy) per-100 g values and the listed quantities.
  • *Per 100 g of combined raw ingredients; the cooked dish may weigh more or less.
  • “—” means the value isn’t known for enough of the ingredients; it is never zero by default.

Good to know

Tips

  • No steam wand: heat the milk with the cinnamon in a pan until steaming and whisk hard, or use a handheld frother.

Food safety

  • Honey is not suitable for babies under 12 months.

Storage

  • Make to order and drink straight away; milk foam collapses and coffee loses its aroma within minutes.
